Saturday Classes

SATURDAY DISCOVERY CLASSES
La French Academy offers a fun, musical, interactive, and effective language-learning experience. We run two bilingual programs on Saturdays. Don’t forget to apply your 5% sibling discount per child, per booking.
For English-speaking families
- 9:15–10:00am — Babies & Toddlers (0–2 yrs) $238.50 inc. GST — 9‑week term
- 10:15–11:00am — Preschoolers (3–5 yrs) $238.50 inc. GST — 9‑week term
- 11:15am–12:15pm — Le French Club (5 yrs and up) $262 inc. GST — 9‑week term
These classes introduce French through songs, age‑appropriate instructions, everyday vocabulary, and storytelling. We use props, visual aids, and movement to engage multiple senses and support learning. Caregivers are encouraged to participate so everyone learns together.
For bilingual and francophone families
- 12:30–1:30pm — Le Petit French Club (3–5 yrs) $262 inc. GST — 9‑week term
This immersive one‑hour class is conducted entirely in French and designed for children from bilingual households. Caregivers are welcome to join or stay nearby. The program focuses on social vocabulary through songs, games, storytelling, and crafts, and helps prepare children for Kindy at Killarney Heights Public School, which offers a French–English curriculum.
Le Francophone BEFORE SCHOOL French Club
Time: Tuesdays, 7 to 8.30 am, through school terms
Place: La French Academy, Shop 4 - Tramore Place Killarney Heights
Rate: $165 (Term 2 is 10-week Term for Tuesdays) (5% sibling discount available) - included is basic breakfast (whole fruit, Weetabix and whole cream milk).
TERM 2 2026: From Tuesday 28th April through to Tuesday 30th June:
Program:
- Weekly Activities: Each week will focus on something new—ranging from French games and music to cultural crafts and storytelling.
- Homework & Reading Support: We are also carving out dedicated time to help students with their French homework or provide guidance with their reading levels. It’s a great chance for them to get that extra boost in a relaxed environment! We want this to be a mix of "fun" and "functional" so they head into their first class feeling confident and inspired.
Le Francophone AFTER SCHOOL French Club
Time: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3 to 5.30 pm, through school terms
Place: La French Academy, Shop 4 - Tramore Place Killarney Heights
Rate: $360 per 11-week Term (5% sibling discount available)
TERM 2 2026: From Wednesday 22nd April through to Thursday 2nd July:
*Monday French Club will be 8 weeks (No school on 20th April, 27th April & 8th June are Public Holidays). Monday French Club 8 weeks rate is $262inc GST.
*Tuesday French Club will be 10 weeks (No school on 21st April). Tuesday French Club 10 weeks rate is $327inc GST.
1 day per week Full Rate: $360 inc GST per Term
2 days a week 5% off: $684 inc GST per Term
3 days a week 7% off: $1005 inc GST per Term
4 days a week 10% off: $1296 inc GST per Term
Le French Club is a tailored program for pre-kindy & school-aged children, held every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. Our program offers a free school pick-up service from KU & KHPS, ensuring a seamless transition into a fun-filled afternoon immersed entirely in French. Each week, children dive into a world of diverse activities and engaging sets exclusively conducted in French.
Designed for children with a solid grasp of French comprehension but limited speaking abilities, our aim is to cultivate their social verbal skills beyond the traditional school curriculum. Through interactive games, enriching vocabulary exercises, and a playful learning environment, our goal is to foster a love for the language while honing their conversational abilities. Join us on this exciting journey of learning French through the joy of play!
L'Anglophone French CLub
Time: Tuesday and / or Thursdays, 3 to 4 pm through school terms

Price: $240 - 5% Sibling discount available per child

At Le Anglophone French Club, children embark on an exciting journey of learning a foreign language in a vibrant social environment. Through a diverse range of engaging activities, captivating learning games, and themed crafts that change with each term, children experience a dynamic and fun-filled approach to language acquisition.
Our flexible structure allows children to join the club at any point during the year, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to explore the French language. Join us as we make language learning a delightful adventure that sparks creativity and fosters a love for French!
