Geraldine Collins is the founder of La French Academy and a native French speaker from the Languedoc-Roussillon region in the south of France. Growing up surrounded by the rich culture and history of her hometown, Nîmes, she developed a deep love for language, connection, and community.

Before founding La French Academy, Geraldine built a successful career in hospitality management in London, where she coached and mentored individuals from diverse backgrounds. Her natural ability to nurture confidence and encourage growth has always been at the heart of her work.

Her passion for language education began at home. When her two children were born, Geraldine made a heartfelt commitment to raise them in a bilingual environment, sharing both her native French and English in everyday life. Through songs, stories, play, and conversation, she saw firsthand how children thrive when language learning feels joyful and natural.

Today, she brings that same warmth into every class. At La French Academy, Geraldine creates a supportive, playful environment where children feel safe to explore, speak, and grow. She believes language is more than vocabulary and grammar — it is about building confidence, curiosity, and meaningful connections that last a lifetime.
